Salary: $88,099 - $94,791 + SUPER + NFP Salary Packaging available

The Victorian Aboriginal Child and Community Agency (VACCA) is an Aboriginal Community-Controlled organisation that supports and advocates for the Aboriginal Community and is the largest organisation of its kind in Australia. Better Futures – Cultural Support will sit in the Out of Home Care team and will have the main focus of promoting culture and importance of self-determination to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people.

• Demonstrated commitment and understanding for the values that underpin VACCA's vision and purpose
• Awareness and appreciation of Aboriginal societies and cultures, along with awareness of the key issues which impact upon Aboriginal communities, and commitment to continually build knowledge in this area
• Demonstrated experience in working and engaging with Aboriginal families and children
• Growing knowledge and/or lived experience of Child Protection and out of home care system

Valid Police Check, a Working with Children's Check for a paid employee (or willingness to obtain) and a Victorian Driver Licence. Current COVID-19 vaccination (Strongly Recommended).
