Overview

Expression of Interest - Casual Fitters (Food Manufacturing - Top Brands)

Location: Across Sydney, NSW

Employment Type: Casual

We're inviting expressions of interest from qualified Fitters for upcoming casual roles with leading food manufacturing facilities across Sydney.

If you have hands-on experience with food-grade machinery and are seeking flexible, well-paid work, we'd love to hear from you.

Qualifications
  • Trade qualification in Mechanical Trade/ Fitter & Turner
  • Experience in FMCG or food production environments
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
  • Knowledge of hygiene, GMP, and safety standards
Shifts
  • Standard Day Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday
  • Rotating Shifts:
    • Day Shift: 5:45 AM - 6:15 PM
    • Night Shift: 5:45 PM - 6:15 AM
    • 3-1-3 rotation, offering:
      • 8 days off when transitioning from night to day shift
      • 7 days off when transitioning from day to night shift
Pay rates
  • Base rate: $48-$55/hour
  • Casual loading: 25% (included in the above range)
  • Night shift loading: 30%
