El Environment Supervisor supervisa la creación de entornos digitales para cine y televisión. Reporta al Visual Effects Supervisor y Digital Supervisor, estableciendo la apariencia final de los ambientes bajo la dirección creativa de los supervisores de VFX y DFX, manteniendo estándares de alta calidad.

Se coordina con el equipo de Environments/Generalist para implementar el workflow óptimo durante la creación de entornos: pruebas de render, optimización y publicación para su integración en la pipeline. Trabaja directamente con supervisores de otros departamentos para una entrega clara entre áreas y con producción para definir cronogramas y hitos. Es responsable de la calidad artística y técnica de las entregas de su equipo, delegando tareas de forma eficiente.

Requisitos y Habilidades
  • Experiencia comprobada como Environment Supervisor gestionando requerimientos complejos.
  • Experiencia significativa en largometrajes VFX y conocimiento exhaustivo de la pipeline VFX.
  • Capacidad de liderazgo y motivación del equipo.
  • Destrezas de comunicación elevadas.
  • Conocimiento avanzado de software VFX (ej. Maya, Mari, Nuke).
  • Manejo experto en modelado, texturizado, layout, iluminación y matte painting digital.
  • Comprensión en procesos 3D y 2.5D VFX.
  • Desarrollo de concept art para entornos fotorrealistas.
  • Ventaja: experiencia con herramientas procedurales de generación de ciudades/terrenos y scattering.
  • Trabajo con datos de rodaje, referencias fotográficas, HDRIs, photogrammetry y Lidar.
  • Conocimientos sobre geología, geografía, meteorología y arquitectura.

  • Organizado, proactivo y capaz de trabajar bajo presión.
  • Capaz de cumplir plazos cortos y mantener la motivación.
