The Role

Are you passionate about sustainability and environmental responsibility?

Working from our Subiaco head office, you will have the opportunity to deliver a real and meaningful impact across our operations in both Australia and New Zealand.

An innovative thinker, you will participate in the development of strategies and initiatives that will continue our transition to becoming an ESG industry leader.

Key Responsibilities :

  1. Strategic Sustainability : Assist in developing and delivering SRG Global's sustainability strategy and goals. Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement action plans aligned with our values and operations.
  2. Environmental Impact : Evaluate and enhance our environmental practices by developing assessment metrics, collecting data on energy consumption, waste, and emissions, and working with stakeholders to reduce our environmental footprint.
  3. Data Analysis and Reporting : Analyze sustainability data to set targets and prepare internal and external reports. Manage our carbon and emissions capture application.
  4. Compliance and Risk Management : Stay updated on relevant legislation, ensure compliance, and provide support for certifications and prequalifications.

The successful applicant will ideally have :

  • Previous experience in a sustainability or environmental role.
  • Industry experience in construction, mining, or industrial services (desirable).
  • A degree in environmental management, sustainability, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in sustainability reporting standards (GRI, TCFD, IFRS, SASB, UN SDGs).
  • Financial acumen with an ability to analyze data and documentation with accuracy.
  • Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills, with excellent organizational abilities.
  • Valid driver's license in Western Australia.
  • Strong computer and systems skills and knowledge.
