Overview

Casual Cleaner role at Illawarra Mercury (via UOW Pulse). The Cleaner is responsible for performing a full range of cleaning duties to maintain a high standard of cleanliness in Pulse spaces, contributing to a safe, healthy and pleasant environment for occupants and visitors.

Responsibilities
  • Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and dusting to maintain cleanliness.
  • Uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards across Pulse-operated spaces.
  • Move furniture and equipment as needed to access areas requiring cleaning.
  • Work as part of a team and on a flexible roster.
  • Handle cleaning chemicals safely and in accordance with guidelines.
  • Follow lock up procedures and Work Health & Safety procedures.
About You
  • Experience in commercial cleaning.
  • Previous experience using motorised cleaning equipment.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling.
  • Ability to move furniture and equipment.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on a flexible roster.
  • Knowledge of lock up procedures and Work Health & Safety.
  • Hold a valid Working with Children Check.
