Head Mechanic

ETS are currently seeking a skilled and driven Head Mechanic to join our team at our Inverell workshop in New South Wales.

• Collaborate with the Fleet Maintenance Supervisor and National Fleet and Maintenance Manager to identify areas for improvement in workshop and fleet maintenance activities.
• Coordinate tasks such as routine maintenance, breakdowns, and one-off inspections for both oneself and other mechanics/apprentices, providing job cards and service sheets.
• Ensure that all scheduled maintenance is completed to the required standards within specified deadlines according to ETS policies and procedures.
• Supervise workshop activities to ensure timely, cost-effective, and safe completion of work.
• Manage weekly parts ordering for maintenance and repairs.

• Experience with diesel trucks, hydraulic systems and vegetation equipment (EWP's, utes, chippers)
• Strong hands on mechanical and hydraulic engineering skills
• Proven team supervision and leadership experience with excellent communication
• Committed to maintaining a strong safety focus

Annual package of $120K+ Super + Vehicle + Phone
