Base pay range

$100,000.00/yr - $160,000.00/yr

Overview

Our client, a Brisbane-based software product start-up, is on the lookout for another software engineer to join their team to assist in the ongoing development and enhancement of their software products. This highly successful business has established itself in the market with its cutting edge products. They are in an organic growth stage and seek a solid software engineer with experience building complex software, ideally in a scientific environment. They are open to mid-level through to quite senior engineers. The tech stack is Python/Django & React, but they are open to other tech stack experience.

Responsibilities
  • Join the team to assist in the ongoing development and enhancement of software products.
  • Build complex software, ideally in a scientific environment.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in software engineering.
  • Experience building complex software in a language like Python or C++.
Bonus/Ideal experience
  • Experience in building software using Python & Django.
  • Experience building applications which process and display large amounts of data.
  • Front-end development experience (ideally using React).
  • AI-native mindset & experience using tools like Copilot or Cursor.
