About the Role

Reporting to the Auxiliary Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for repairs and maintenance to highway-going trucks, generators, dewatering pump units, lighting plans, mobile and classified plant equipment.

In This Role You Will
  • Provide diagnostics, repairs and maintenance/service to a fleet of Trucks (Scania/Fuso), Diesel Generators, Lighting Plants, EWP's, Forklifts and other critical equipment within the Auxiliary department to ensure operational efficiency
  • Contribute to safety and continuous improvement culture by adhering to BOS and high standards of execution
  • Operate mobile equipment within your competence and training
  • Ensure accurate completion of technical documentation, reports and drawings as required
  • Use computerised maintenance systems (SAP) including time confirmations, raising notifications and closing work orders
  • Assist the Maintenance Supervisor with rescheduling of work, organizing resources, scope of work and prioritization
About You
  • Australian recognised Heavy Road Transport Mechanical Qualification
  • Class C Driver's Licence (HR desirable)
  • High Risk Licences: Working at Heights, HR, CV, Dogging, Rigging, Forklift, and Air Conditioning Ticket (Desirable)
  • Extensive experience diagnosing, maintaining and repairing a broad range of machinery
  • Willingness to learn
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well within a close-knit team
