About The Role
Reporting to the Production Supervisor at Saraji Mine, you will be an integral part of the Load and Haul team. As a Load and Haul Operator, you will operate a range of heavy mobile equipment to support the safe and efficient movement of overburden and coal.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate heavy mining equipment including trucks, dozers, graders, and excavators within operational parameters.
- Contribute to achieving daily production targets in a team-focused environment.
- Complete pre-start checks and adhere to all site safety standards and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors, dispatch, and maintenance teams.
- Demonstrate commitment to BMA's safety culture and continuous improvement initiatives.
Previous experience in Load and Haul Coal Mining and or Pre-strip as well as to be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience operating HME in a large-scale open-cut mining environment.
- Competency and skill on at least two of the following: D10/D11 dozers, 16M graders, or excavators .
- A current Standard 11 Statement of Attainment and Coal Board Medical (or ability to obtain).
- A strong commitment to safety and working in a team-oriented environment.
