Position Description

DeNOVO Solutions has an opening for a Hardware Engineer / On-site Engineer (OSE) that can work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced, mission focused, environment. The Hardware Engineer must have the ability to work with Tier 2 customer teams to manage onsite hardware assets to include Server, Storage, Network, and Backup. The assets for this role might be specific to DELL and EMC products but could also include other OEM's based on the program. The Hardware Engineer / On-site Engineer (OSE) must be proficient and have experience in the following tasks:
  • Retrieving parts or components from site security.
  • Installing parts or components, performing part retention/sanitization process, and resolve ticket with the DPCC.
  • Gathering tag information from the part/system being replaced and provide this information to customer via secured communication.
  • Managing site replacement part handling requirements including installation coordination and part disposal with site contacts.
  • Ensure all hardware is operational or all known avenues of repair have been exhausted.

Required Qualifications And Certifications
  • 10+ years of Hardware Engineering experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity within the Federal Government is required. Demonstrated experience in planning and leading a team is required.
  • All HWE/OSEs will be required to obtain and keep current Security+ and/or CISSP certification.
  • All HWE/OSEs will be required to keep current on customer required training for Privileged User (PU) access.
  • Experience in Tier 4 Break/Fix work.

Required Clearance
  • An active TS/SCI and a polygraph

Salary Range: $140, $150, Commensurate with experience)

Note: The above salary range is a guideline and represents a broad spectrum of potential compensation. We recognize that a candidate's unique experience and qualifications may justify compensation beyond this range. Therefore, we remain open to considering higher salary offers for exceptionally qualified candidates.
