The Role

As Gallery Manager, you will lead the successful opening and ongoing performance of this new showroom on Church Street. You'll be responsible for establishing a high-performing team, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and bringing the brand to life in a beautifully curated retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the successful launch and daily operations of the new Richmond showroom
  • Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team
  • Deliver an elevated customer experience aligned with the brand's premium positioning
  • Drive sales performance and KPI achievement through strategic leadership
  • Maintain showroom standards, stock presentation, and visual merchandising excellence
  • Ensure operational compliance, reporting, and loss prevention measures are in place
  • Foster a positive, customer-first culture and collaborative team environment

Skills and Experience

Proven experience in premium / luxury retail management (homewares, furniture, lifestyle, or fashion)Strong leadership skills with a passion for developing and motivating teamsExceptional customer service standards and a natural ability to build rapportExperience opening new retail locations (desirable but not essential)Strong commercial acumen with the ability to drive performance and manage operationsA genuine interest in interiors, design, and creating inspiring retail spaces
