We are currently recruiting for a number of Locum Physiotherapists to work in various locations in northern NSW. Locations include Ballina / Byron Bay, Grafton, and other regional towns. Contract lengths range from 6 weeks to 3+ months, with the possibility for longer-term work. Compensation is between $45-60 per hour, plus super. Accommodation can be organized and included. The role primarily involves working in Residential Aged Care, with opportunities for clinic-based work. Start date is ASAP.

About the organisation:

This role is with a leading provider of allied health services, working closely with a residential aged care facility in Kingscliff.

Duties:

  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments under ANACC
  • Oversee and run group exercise sessions and falls prevention classes alongside physiotherapy aides
  • Deliver Chronic Pain Management Programs
  • Implement and upgrade rehabilitation exercise programs
  • Communicate with a team of health practitioners
  • Deliver manual handling training competencies
  • Clinic-based work

Requirements:

  • Must be a fully registered Physiotherapist with AHPRA
  • Ability to start soon
  • Must be based in Australia with relevant work rights

  • Full-time hours
  • Pay rate of $45-60 per hour, plus super; accommodation can be provided
  • Support and training
