Position : Landscape Gardener

The Gecko Team has a wide range of skilled employees that help customers achieve their desired results. From maintenance to construction, we have all aspects of landscaping services covered.

Landscape Gardener

We are currently seeking a permanent, full-time employee who has had at least 3 years of relevant experience working in the industry. You will be rewarded for your skills and experience and will be provided with a long-term career path.

Skills and experience :

  • Demonstrate experience or qualifications in the Horticultural industry in a similar role.
  • Certificate 3 in Horticulture or similar
  • A strong focus on Work Health and Safety, Quality & Environmental
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • An eye for detail and desire to produce a very high standard of work
  • Current driver's license (MR preferred)
  • Construction White card
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude
  • Traffic Management qualification desirable.
  • Chemical Spray License desirable.

Duties and responsibilities :

Completing garden maintenance tasks such as but not limited to pruning, mulching, weeding, lawn mowingLeading a small teamOperating maintenance equipment including power tools in accordance with OH&S proceduresReporting to maintenance supervisorAssist management in maintaining ISO9001, ISO45001, & ISO14001 accreditations.

Salary Range : $76,515 to $85,000
