We are currently seeking an Engineering Systems Manager to join our Melbourne teamAbout the Role:

This role is responsible for establishing and ensuring a seamless transition into the new Engineering Management Systems Framework (EMSF). It is critical in maintaining an efficient engineering assurance process throughout the project lifecycle. Responsibilities include:

  1. Establishing and leading an effective Engineering Systems Team within the Operator Engineering Authority.
  2. Maintaining operator-focused assumptions around reliability and performance during project delivery.
  3. Developing and maintaining the EMSF, along with supporting standards, procedures, manuals, and templates.
  4. Aligning the EMSF with broader safety management strategies and securing project approvals.
  5. Overseeing EMSF coverage during design, manufacturing, and construction phases.
  6. Leading engineering assurance forums such as the Change Control Board (CCB) and Engineering Review Committee (ERC).
  7. Managing and auditing Authorized Delivery Organizations (ADOs), including oversight of competency systems and safety compliance.
  8. Handling concessions to standards, implementing changes, and updating engineering standards as needed.
  9. Managing applications for Type Approval.
  10. Contributing to project-wide management plans.
  11. Staying updated with emerging trends, technologies, and regulations to ensure proactive compliance.
  12. Providing technical guidance throughout all project stages.
