What You'll Do

You'll provide high-quality counselling and therapy to couples, families and individuals to address the issues impacting their relationships. This can include general conflict, communication, domestic violence, mental health, addiction issues and child-protection. You'll use a Family Systems Framework in your counselling and provide information and referrals to improve the wellbeing of your clients.

What You'll Bring

  • Experience working with couples and families using a robust Family Systems clinical framework is required
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in social work, psychology or equivalent
  • Post-grad qualifications or training in Counselling or Couple and Family Therapy
  • Strong understanding of family dynamics, child protection, domestic violence, mental health, and addiction
  • A calm, professional and compassionate approach when engaging with clients
  • Registered or eligible to be registered with PACFA or ACA

The details

  • 3 days per week based in Wollongong
  • Part-time 12 month contract with potential for extension
  • Approx $46 - $52 per hour (depending on skills & experience % super, 17.5% leave loading and tax-free salary packaging up to $15,900. (Increase your take home pay Calculate Your Savings at https : / / / calculate-your-savings)
