Position Overview: An energetic and motivated insurance professional with a passion for relationship building and growth is sought for a Senior Casualty Underwriter role. The ideal candidate will focus on broker engagement and new business development to help foster company growth.

About the Role

Reporting to the National Casualty Manager, the successful candidate will be central to underwriting new liability risks, analyzing submissions, and providing tailored solutions for broker partners. In addition to technical underwriting responsibilities, this position emphasizes cultivating long-term broker relationships and contributing actively to growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Candidate Profile
  • Proven experience in liability underwriting, preferably within an agency setting.
  • Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills with a focus on broker engagement.
  • Commercially minded with a track record in new business development.
  • Analytical thinker with excellent attention to detail and decision-making abilities.
  • Sound knowledge of industry regulations and underwriting practices.
