Overview

Head Chef - Relief

$38.35 per hour inclusive of casual loading

Responsibilities
  • Relief role working across several aged care facilities
  • Various shift times and patterns, as this role provides relief coverage
  • Food preparation, cooking, and presentation of all food offerings
  • Ensure daily adherence to safety and hygiene processes to maintain a safe, allergen-aware environment that meets food safety standards and accommodates diverse customer needs, including texture-modified foods
  • Actively maintain a complete awareness and desire for nutrition and healthy eating
  • Provide exceptional customer service for residents and their families
  • Building and leveraging positive customer and client relationships to achieve our partnership objectives
The Person
  • Previous kitchen management experience in a similar role - strong leadership qualities, collaborative management skills and a passion for food
  • Experience in HACCP, food safety and infection control
  • Proactive and solution-oriented with a positive leadership style, adaptable, open to feedback, and excellent at time management in dynamic environments
  • Cert. III Commercial Cookery
  • Food safety Supervisory certificate
  • National Police Check
