Base pay range

A$1,000.00/daily - A$1,200.00/daily

Location: Sydney, New South Wales, Australia

Key Responsibilities
  • Design end-to-end data solutions leveraging Snowflake, AWS S3, and Glue
  • Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and business analysts to define solution patterns and integration strategies
  • Lead technical workshops and stakeholder engagements to capture requirements and present solution options
  • Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, security, and regulatory frameworks
  • Document solution designs, data flows, and technical specifications with clarity and precision
  • Support implementation teams with guidance, troubleshooting, and quality assurance
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of design standards and reusable components
Ideally you will have
  • Proven experience designing solutions with Snowflake, AWS S3, and AWS Glue in enterprise environments
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL/ELT pipelines, and cloud-native architectures
  • Familiarity with data governance best practices on AWS
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience working within regulated environments (e.g., government or financial services)
  • Strong documentation and presentation skills
  • Exposure to other AWS services (e.g., Lambda, Step Functions, Redshift)
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
  • Knowledge of data modeling and performance optimization in Snowflake
  • Certifications in AWS or Snowflake
