About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity to join Nellie Melba Retirement Village, Wheelers Hill as a Personal Care Worker on a Permanent Part-Time basis working:

Option 1: Monday to Thursday 1500-2100 (High Care)

Option 2: Tuesday to Friday 0700-1300 (Cover Pool - working across all units)

Option 2: Monday to Thursday 1500-2200 (Low Care)

Option 3: Tuesday to Thursday 1500-2100 (Low Care)

Option 4: Monday, Thursday, Friday 0700-1300 (Cover Pool - working across all units)

Please note that each option is a fixed set of shifts; hence, cannot be combined with any other shifts.

In this role you will:
  • Develop lasting relationships with our residents and their families
  • Follow our resident's individual care plans, providing care that would be good enough for mum and dad
  • Use the latest technology - including our own purpose-built care app myRyman
  • Work closely with, and support your colleagues creating a great team environment

About You

To thrive in our supportive and caring environment you will have:
  • Certificate III/ IV in Ageing Support or Certificate III in Individual Support (required)
  • At least 1 year of PCA experience in an aged care facility (required)
  • Kindness in your DNA
  • Strong empathy
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • A reliable, friendly and professional style
