Are you an experienced and qualified Hospitality Manager seeking a rewarding role in aged care? We are looking for a dedicated and skilled individual to oversee both kitchen and laundry operations in a management position. This diverse role will involve a balance of office-based tasks and hands-on kitchen duties.

About the Role

As Hospitality Manager, you will be responsible for the efficient and high-quality delivery of hospitality services within our aged care facility in Ballarat. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  1. Managing and leading both kitchen and laundry staff.
  2. Ensuring high standards of food preparation, presentation, and service.
  3. Managing inventory, budgeting, and compliance with food safety and aged care standards.
  4. Handling administrative duties related to hospitality services.
  5. Collaborating with other departments to ensure resident satisfaction.
  6. Having a hands-on role in both kitchen and office environments.
About You

You will possess relevant qualifications and demonstrated skills in hospitality management, ideally within an aged care setting. The successful candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in a leadership or management role, overseeing kitchen and/or laundry operations.
  • Relevant qualifications in Hospitality Management or Commercial Cookery.
  • A strong understanding of food safety standards and regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • A compassionate and resident-focused approach.
  • The ability to work effectively in both office and kitchen environments.
