Are you an energetic individual with healthcare experience? Brisbane Private Hospital is seeking a Hospital Orderly with a can-do attitude to join our team on a full time, part time or casual basis.

Role details
  • Theatre Orderly
  • Monday to Friday with occasional weekend on-call work
  • Full time, part time and casual opportunities
  • Discounted parking and meals
Responsibilities
  • Cultivating a hospitable and friendly environment for all patients
  • Work as an active team member with nurses, medical officers, external providers and administrators
  • Movement of patients within the Hospital (e.g., in Wheelchair or Bed)
  • Supporting Hospital ward areas (e.g., Equipment supply)
  • Assisting with the transfer of patients to and from appointments
  • Taking direction from Hospital Nurse Coordinator
Essential Criteria
  • Work as part of a team and independently
  • Willingness to learn and adaptable to different situations
  • Experience in a hospital environment or similar preferred but not essential
  • Ability to prioritise and organise work, with minimal supervision
  • Excellent customer service, organisational and communication skills
  • Flexibility, reliability and ability to work under pressure
  • Willingness to work across a number of different shift times and duration
