About the Role

Join our Customer Service team on a Full Time, permanent basis at our Newcastle branch based at Thornton.

Duties
  • Provide an exceptional customer service experience with a "Yes We Can" attitude
  • Handling all customer queries in a professional and timely manner
  • Answering a high volume of inbound calls, placing orders (data entry), and assisting customers with their day-to-day enquiries
  • Providing customers with product, services and procedural information in a clear and simple way always ensuring accuracy
  • Supporting internal and external sales with new and prospective customers
  • Supporting Operational teams to ensure the customers' expectations are exceeded
  • Demonstrate ownership of customer enquiries, ensuring follow through in a timely manner
  • Maintain existing Supagas customer accounts with utmost professionalism
  • Assist with branch sales through conversion of phone and email enquires
  • Achieve set targets and KPI's
Skills & experience
  • Previous experience in a high-volume inbound customer service or contact centre
  • A passion for customer service
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with a diverse range of people
  • Intermediate computer skills with accurate Data entry (Inhouse system training will be provided)
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise your work (email and phone)
  • Attention to detail, time management & problem-solving skills
  • A professional approach and positive attitude towards your work and teammates
  • Ability to work to deadline
  • Administration/Account Reconciliation experience favourable though not essential
  • The successful candidate will be required to attend a pre-employment medical
