The Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you will support the business through financial reporting, modelling, and analysis, ensuring strategic growth and informed decision-making. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, you will manage various financial duties and collaborate with departments to provide insights that drive business success.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Inventory & Fixed Assets Management
    • Detailed tracking of inventory movements.
    • Calculating and reporting on aircraft depreciation.
    • Developing and implementing systems to automate inventory and fixed asset movements.
  2. Financial Reporting & Analysis
    • Preparation of management reports and variance analysis against budgets and forecasts.
    • Collating statistical data for use in various reports.
  3. Compliance & Project Work
    • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and assisting with audits if required.
    • Supporting emissions project work.
Skills And Attributes
  • Experience with financial modelling and the ability to analyse complex reports.
  • Previous involvement in emissions projects is an asset but not essential.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and relevant standards.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and other accounting software packages.
  • Organised, structured, and efficient with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Relevant Business/Finance-related degree.
  • CPA/CA qualification is preferred.
  • Professional accounting experience, ideally within the aviation or industrial/manufacturing industries.
