About The RoleAn Administration Officer – Primary Health Care Trainee is a patient's first point of contact at one of our medical clinics. This entry point role has potential for growth and development and is supervised by experienced health professionals. You should NOT hold a Certificate III to be eligible for this position. You will manage patient flow with time management, clear communication, and professional demeanour of patients in waiting areas.
Duties- First point of contact meet and greet clients.
- Attend to all phone calls and messages in accordance with the ATSICHS Triage process.
- Booking of appointments using the MMex system.
- Maintain specialist calendars.
- Ensure all correspondence related to GP referrals is scanned and filed in the appropriate patient chart.
- Ensure confidentiality is observed at all times when dealing with patient information.

Benefits- Salary of $45,000 per annum + additional 12% superannuation.

- Must identify as an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person in accordance with s25 of the Anti-discrimination Act 1991 (Qld).
- Willingness and ability to undertake at a minimum a Certificate III Business Administration.
- The ability to work independently, under guidance or direction and within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Previous experience in working with culturally diverse people.
- An ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People.
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Suite Applications.
- Current and valid National Police Check.
