About SAS Migration Group: Based in Australia, SAS Migration Group is at the forefront of developing an innovative, business-critical mobile application. To ensure the success and technical excellence of this key initiative, we are seeking a seasoned mobile engineering expert to provide strategic oversight and technical governance on a part-time contract basis.

Position Overview: This is a senior advisory role for an individual with a profound and extensive background in mobile application development. You will act as the primary technical auditor, collaborating with our management and development teams to ensure our application is built to the highest standards of quality, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Governance: Conduct rigorous weekly code and architecture reviews to enforce best practices and maintain a high-quality, scalable, and secure codebase.
• Strategic Reporting: Translate complex technical assessments into clear, concise progress reports and strategic recommendations for the non-technical leadership team.
• Risk & Compliance Verification: Ensure development milestones align with project specifications, timelines, and architectural guidelines, identifying potential risks and deviations.
• Mentorship & Best Practices: Serve as a subject matter expert, offering guidance and introducing advanced mobile engineering principles and design patterns to the team.

Qualifications & Profile:

• A minimum of 5 years of distinguished professional experience in mobile application engineering, with mastery of both iOS and Android native ecosystems.
• A proven portfolio of successfully launched, high-performance mobile applications on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, with demonstrable experience in scaling applications to a large user base.
• Expert-level knowledge of the entire mobile development lifecycle, from strategic planning and architectural design to deployment, analytics, and post-launch maintenance.
• Deep understanding of modern mobile architectures, performance optimization techniques, and security protocols.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of bridging the gap between technical and business stakeholders.
• Previous experience in a consulting, advisory, or technical leadership role is highly desirable.
