Role Responsibilities:

Our Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) deliver medical care to clients of all ages in their homes and community settings across Nova Scotia, including:
  • Diabetes management
  • Dialysis
  • Medication management
  • Palliative care
  • Phlebotomy
  • Wound care, including negative pressure therapy and complex wounds
Qualifications:
  • Licensed as a Practical Nurse in the province of practice
  • Community health experience is an asset
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
  • Current Criminal Records Check and Vulnerable Sector Search or Child Abuse Registry Check
  • Ability to wear PPE
Physical demands include lifting, bending, reaching, and other movements requiring good body mechanics. The role involves walking, sitting, standing, and stair climbing throughout the day, with fine hand movements required for certain tasks.
