Join us in shaping a brighter future through innovative recruitment practices and playing a key role in establishing a new centralised model for our temporary staff needs.
In this role, you will manage the end-to-end recruitment process for the appointment of temporary agency staff, ensuring timely placement of candidates to meet fluctuating workforce demands. You will act as the key liaison between hiring managers and staffing agencies, ensuring successful placement of temporary agency staff, compliance with onboarding requirements, internal governance and procurement procedures, organisational policies, reporting and analysis, budget management, and workforce planning strategies.
A little bit about the role
You will identify and assist in hiring skilled contingent staff into the Council and support recruitment as needed. You should have a proven track record in talent acquisition, specifically in the contingent workforce sector, and the ability to build strong relationships with hiring managers, recruitment agencies, and candidates.
You will play an active role in establishing a new PCD centralised model for all contingent workforce needs, including implementing the internal service, educating hiring managers on new processes, establishing new ways of working from initial brief to placement, and developing reports for department managers and executives.
A little bit about you
You are a dynamic HR/Recruitment professional with a passion for driving positive change. Your ability to build relationships with hiring managers and external agencies is excellent. You excel at talent acquisition, operational and strategic sourcing, and evaluating candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit.
Your expertise in providing recruitment advice and being a trusted advisor sets you apart. You thrive in collaborative environments and are committed to fostering a strong safety culture.
Employment Requirements
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a Certificate II in Human Resources, or relevant experience
- Proven experience in centralised recruitment services within an organisation
- Proven experience in providing contingent/temporary staff labour
