The role will involve the provision of psychological and/or neuropsychological assessment and treatment services to adult and older adult clients of the Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District (ISLHD).

The role may include work across hospital sites, outpatient clinics, or community centres. There may also be an opportunity for work with children and families.

A Little About Us.

Wollongong Hospital, located on Dharawal Country, is the Illawarra Shoalhaven's major referral and teaching hospital and has a bed-base count of more than 500. The campus, which incorporates the Illawarra Regional Cancer Care Centre, provides a comprehensive range of inpatient, outpatient and community-based services.

Wollongong is located an hour's drive south of Sydney on a narrow coastal strip bordered by the Royal National Park to the north, Lake Illawarra to the south, the Tasman Sea to the east and the Illawarra Escarpment to the west. Requirements

Apply now by reading the Position Description, then, using our online portal, submit a resume and answer the selection criteria within the application. In addition, please note you must have the following essential requirements:
  • Applicable vaccination requirements for a Category A role.
  • Working With Children Check (WWCC)
  • Current AHPRA Registration
  • A two-year full-time equivalent accredited postgraduate Masters Degree or Doctorate Degree in Clinical Psychology or Clinical Neuropsychology, or completing same.
  • Valid NSW Drivers Licence
