About our Graduate Program

Our Graduate Program provides hands-on experience through rotations across our core business functions. You'll start in our Growth & Development team, then rotate through key departments (Standards Development, the Project Management Office, and Finance), before returning with fresh perspectives to the Growth & Development team and launching your career. Along the way, you'll discover your strengths, broaden your skill set, and gain valuable insight into how standards contribute to keeping every Australian safe.

What you'll do
  • Support the delivery of strategic and international projects
  • Coordinate engagement with industry, government, and international stakeholders.
  • Shadow managers to learn market research and gain real-world insights.
  • Work on initiatives that blend commercial thinking with mission impact, including funding models and partnerships.
  • Be part of business development efforts that strengthen Australia's influence and create new revenue opportunities.
  • Contribute to the design of new services and offerings.
We are seeking individuals who
  • Are recent university graduates with a degree
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills and thrive in team environments
  • Are passionate about innovation and collaboration
  • Exhibit curiosity, adaptability, and initiative, with a positive, collaborative mindset
  • Some experience in one of commercial strategy, policy, or international affairs
  • Genuine interest in creating solutions that drive both public value and sustainable commercial outcomes
