Housekeeping Services Team Leader

At UnitingSA, we are looking for a dynamic Housekeeping Services Team Leader to oversee and inspire our hotel services team, ensuring our aged care residents enjoy a clean, welcoming, and well-maintained environment every day.

As our Housekeeping Services Team Leader, you will take ownership of daily housekeeping and laundry operations across the facility. This role involves leading by example, setting standards in room presentation, hygiene, and guest service. You will coordinate team rosters, monitor quality standards, and ensure compliance with food safety and infection control regulations.

There are two full-time roles available in Hotel Services at West Lakes and Westminster Village in Grange.

• Supervise and motivate a team of Housekeeping Services Assistants to deliver high-quality cleaning and laundry services.
• Manage daily operations including room turnovers, communal areas, and linen services.
• Provide training and support to staff, ensuring compliance with WHS, infection control, and food safety protocols.
• Coordinate rosters, conduct quality audits, and support staff performance and development.
• Liaise with clinical and administrative staff to respond to resident needs promptly and professionally.
• Manage stock levels and supplier relationships to ensure readiness of equipment and materials.

• Certificate in Supervisory or Frontline Management, or equivalent industry experience.
• Proven background in hotel housekeeping, commercial cleaning, or facility services; aged care or healthcare experience is a bonus.
• Strong knowledge of safe work systems, WHS, and infection control practices.
• A confident, proactive leadership style with excellent communication and team coordination skills.
• A hands-on approach; you're not afraid to lead from the front.
• Essential: Current DHS NDIS Worker Screening Check
