About You And The Role

To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills:

• Minimum 3-4 Years Electrical Engineering experience
• Australian-recognised degree in Engineering or relevant trade background.
• Hold national and/or regional registrations and qualifications. (CPEng, NER, RPEQ or QBCC Designers License).
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, written and people skills.
• Australian citizenship.
• Thorough understanding and application of the regulations, Australian standards, and the National Construction Code.
• Understanding of Engineering modelling software (including CAD/REVIT).
• Diverse experience in a range of project types. Experience in Health and/or Defence Sectors will be held in high regard.
• Demonstrated capability in independently managing your disciplines elements on projects.
• Demonstrated capability in independently managing a project throughout the design life cycle from design through construction to practical completion.
• A commitment to accuracy, high standards of written and verbal communication, punctuality, organisation, presentation and to ongoing development and improvement in these areas with a view to your refinement of a well-rounded base of consulting skills and technical knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilising your demonstrated organisational capability and engaging approach to delivering projects.
• Training and supervision of graduate engineers assisting with projects under your direction.
• Applying technical excellence in Electrical Services design.
• Conduct Quality Assurance (QA) review on Electrical deliverables in alignment with Lucid's QA policy.
• Client/contractor interface.
• Preparation of fee proposals and project bids.
• Managing a team, working with other engineers in a design team, taking and proving direction from and as a project team leader and providing guidance for junior engineers.
• Attendance at site inspections and project meetings, and preparation/review of reports and minutes.
• Attendance at industry events as a Lucid representative.
