The Role
The role of the Risk and Compliance Analyst is to support the business in overseeing the risk and compliance framework, assurance activities and administration of the enterprise risk management and compliance system.

Key Deliverables and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate across lines to create a cohesive and proactive approach to risk management and compliance.
  • Perform analysis and review across the risk management system to derive risk insights and learnings and ensure consistency of approach throughout the organisation.
  • Contribute to initiatives that increase business awareness of the risk management and compliance frameworks.
  • Perform control testing to provide second line assurance that controls are designed appropriately and operating effectively.
  • Support risk and compliance activities by providing support with the administration of the enterprise risk management system and staff queries.
  • Perform regular updating of risk register, metrics and records.
  • Assist with risk and compliance reporting to enable appropriate governance and oversight.

Experience
  • Significant risk and compliance experience including controls design and operating effectiveness.
  • Experience within issuance and financial services (desired).
  • Internal or external audit experience with professional services organisation (desired).
  • A thorough understanding of regulatory obligations, including CPS 220, CPS 230, CPS 234.
  • Experience with risk assessments covering business risk, insurance risks, vendor risks, business continuity risks, project risk, Cyber IT, information security and data risk.
Formal Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree in finance, business administration, legal or related field.
  • Professional risk certification (desirable).
