About the role

Xavier 7 South is a 30-bed mixed medical ward with diverse specialties including Gastroenterology, Renal, Nephrology, Immunology, Infectious diseases, Drug & Alcohol, Clinical Pharmacology, Endocrinology, Rheumatology & Dermatology. It also encompasses inpatient medical oncology services.

You will practice under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and in accordance with NSW Health guidelines, local policy, and protocol. Responsibilities include providing patient-centered nursing care, recognizing normal and abnormal assessments, and administering prescribed medicines or maintaining intravenous fluids as per your educational preparation.

About you

Currently registered as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2) with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency. Minimum of 1 year postgraduate experience in an acute hospital setting. Ability to work within an interdisciplinary team, with effective communication and interpersonal skills. Good time management skills and ability to prioritize in a complex environment. Customer service and patient-centered approach to care.
