Overview

Occupational Therapist or Psychologist or Social Worker - ACT at Metro South Health. This role sits in our multidisciplinary mental health team within the PA Acute Care Team, delivering psychology, occupational therapy, and/or social work services. You will conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, provide therapeutic interventions, and support discharge planning, while contributing to education, supervision, and continuous service improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver patient-centred assessment, intervention, and management in line with evidence-based clinical and departmental protocols.
  • Collaborate effectively within an interprofessional team to ensure holistic care and positive patient outcomes.
  • Provide clinical education and supervision to students and allied health assistants, fostering professional growth.

  • Proven ability to provide efficient, evidence-based clinical care within mental health settings.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and engage with clients and carers.
  • Commitment to continuous learning, professional growth, and participation in clinical education or supervision.
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm for contributing to service improvement initiatives and quality care delivery.
