Overview

Staff Specialist in General Medicine - Manning Base Hospital, Manning Valley, Taree, NSW. This role is split 0.5 FTE General Medicine to provide services to inpatients on admitting wards, ICU, HDU and Emergency Department patients; and 0.5 FTE with subspeciality availability in Cardiology, Geriatric Medicine, Endocrinology and Gastroenterology. Advertising closes 12 October 2025.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, patient-centred care as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
  • Advocate for patients, the department and the broader community.
  • Contribute to improving patient outcomes and addressing the needs of rural and regional communities.

Requirements / Qualifications

We are seeking a candidate who meets the responsibilities and competencies above and is prepared to contribute to a busy General Medicine service with subspecialty availability in Cardiology, Geriatric Medicine, Endocrinology and Gastroenterology.
