Principal Electrical Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical systems from concept to completion, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients to meet project objectives.
  • Prepare estimates and provide technical design support during tender processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement and support internal systems development.
Experience:
  • HV competence, including primary and secondary designs, T&D
  • Cable sizing
  • Understanding and experience with Earthing systems and earth grid designs
  • Understanding and experience with Lighting systems and Lightning protection
  • CPEng and RPEQ or working towards
  • Leadership, mentor junior engineers, problem solving ability
  • Design of electrical systems

  • Qualifications: Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical).
  • Skills: Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and communication abilities.
  • Experience: Proficiency in tools/software for design
  • Attributes: Accountability, initiative, and a results-driven mindset.
  • Essential: Driver's licence and willingness to travel interstate as required.
