About The Role

A great opportunity is available for a Senior iOS Engineer to be a part of the Shop Browse & Evaluate Squad. This position involves delivering updates to the iOS application product cards, refreshed product category experience and uplifting the overall UI of the application.

This is a permanent opportunity reporting to the Engineering Manager.

Work Experience

• Seasoned software engineer with at least 5 years' experience on the tools
• Extensive experience with iOS development and frameworks i.e. SwiftUI
• Good exposure to Agile Scrum working environments
• Experience working in large scale projects and heavy-traffic platforms
• Ability to drive and enforce software engineering practices
• Excellent analytical and problem resolution skills
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
• Desirable to have experience in a cloud environment
• Desirable to have experience with release and automation pipelines
• Tertiary qualifications in a technology engineering discipline such as computer science

Areas of AccountabilitySoftware Delivery

• Drive an engineering team to develop delivery goals within agreed timelines
• Facilitate agile scrum practices within the team, offer support to delivery managers in defining timelines and project requirements

Engineering Quality

• Ensure the team is developing software quality in-line with the broader teams' expectations
• Facilitate and govern peer reviews and testing standards

Team development

• Empower and develop the engineering team's skills
• Facilitate training, ensure all engineers are meeting needs and gaining help to close gaps
• Grow a culture that elicits a high-performing team and a fun working environment
