Substitute Teacher

This is an on-site role for a Substitute Teacher at Honor Prep Charter School, located in Charlotte Metro. The Substitute Teacher will be responsible for facilitating classroom instruction, maintaining a positive learning environment, and safety of students. Day-to-day tasks include implementing lesson plans provided by the absent teacher, adapting teaching methods to meet student needs, and ensuring a smooth transition between teachers. The Substitute Teacher will also be responsible for communicating with staff, students, and parents as needed.

• Facilitate classroom instruction following provided lesson plans.

• Adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs.
• Ensure smooth transitions between teachers and classes.
• Communicate with staff, students, and parents as needed.

• Experience working with children.
• Ability to maintain classroom management.
• Flexibility and adaptability to different classroom environments and needs of the school, staff, and students.
• Bilingual is strongly encouraged.
