Bellevue Gold Limited (ASX:BGL) is a high-grade gold mine located in Western Australia, with an estimated 10+ year mine life forecast to produce approximately 150,000 ounces of gold in FY26.

The mine has been operating underground since late 2020, establishing multiple mining fronts to de-risk production, with exploration potential expected to expand the current high-grade resource.

Situated about 30 km north of Leinster township, the Bellevue Gold Mine is in a major gold and nickel producing district. The company boasts a skilled management team with a proven track record in exploration success and major gold mine development.

Bellevue Gold aims to achieve net zero greenhouse gas emissions for the project by 2026, supported by a sector-leading renewable energy power station with an expected 70-80% renewable energy penetration.

This role involves assisting with the day-to-day activities and administration related to Work Health & Safety (WHS) on site, including developing and promoting WHS procedures, policies, and standards, and monitoring WHS initiatives.

We have a dedicated WHS team that provides coaching and mentoring to develop your career in WHS. You will also be encouraged to join our Emergency Response Team to gain further skills. This is a fly-in fly-out role with an 8 days on, 6 days off rotation.

Main duties include:

  • Assisting with the INX database management.
  • Coordinating health and hygiene monitoring programs (noise, dust, diesel particulate, water).
  • Supporting health and safety contractor activities for surface and underground operations.
  • Participating in incident investigations.
  • Analyzing incident trends and advising management on improvements.
  • Maintaining the site Mine Safety Management System (MSMS), including procedures, registers, and checklists.
  • Promoting safety management systems such as Critical Risk Verification.
  • Facilitating safety consultations, communication, and onboarding of new employees and contractors.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety policies, procedures, and statutory requirements through education, training, and audits.
  • Developing a risk-based safety approach and maintaining a proactive safety culture.
  • Engaging with management, employees, stakeholders, and contractors on WHS issues.
  • Supporting day-to-day WHS requests and maintaining a visible site presence.
  • Developing safety training and awareness programs.
  • Maintaining the risk register, participating in audits, and assisting in incident investigations.
  • Supporting Fit for Work testing and emergency response activities.
  • Providing administrative support to the WHS team and assisting project and exploration teams as needed.

Qualifications and skills required:

  • Relevant WHS certifications (minimum Cert 4 WHS, HLTPAT005).
  • Current valid driver's license.
  • A strong commitment to workforce safety and well-being.
  • Excellent communication, literacy, and MS Office skills.
  • Experience with INX database.
  • Previous experience working in a gold mine environment.
