BMI Resource Recovery is a leading waste and resource recovery management company, operating across Southeast Queensland. We are seeking three Plant Operators to join our Stapylton site team, operating our well-maintained equipment.

  • Dozer and Compactor Operator
  • Front End Loader and Material Handler Operator
Please note: You must be an experienced Operator in one of the fields above, with current tickets.

Hours: (OT and penalty rates apply.)

Monday to Friday 6am start.

Ideally every second or third Saturday / Sunday.

The responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Day to day operations of various vehicles, plant, and equipment.
  • Maintain plant in a reliable, tidy, and safe manner, including minor maintenance such as re-fueling, lubrication, and greasing.
  • Complete logbooks, pre-start checklists, daily running sheets, etc.
  • Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.

To be eligible for this position, the following requirements MUST be met:

  • Required Plant Operator experience, able to operate various types of plant safely and confidently.
  • A sound working knowledge of WHS and general environmental awareness.
  • Plant Licenses or Verification of Competency (VOC).
  • Ability to maintain accurate plant/vehicle records (pre-starts).
