RMA Mornington is a well-organised, tidy workshop specialising in a variety of smash work from small to large. We have a great team culture with long-standing team members who work together. The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Paint Prepper / Trade Assistant to join the team at RMA Mornington.

Role Responsibilities
  • Prepare, prime, buff, and denib vehicles as per job sheet
  • Assist technicians and spray painters with general workshop duties
  • Move vehicles in and out of the workshop or spray booth
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workshop and work bays
  • Handle all vehicles with due care and attention
  • Assist with masking, sanding, or basic panel preparation
  • Organise tools and consumables for tradespeople
  • Adhere to our OH&S policy including use of PPE
Does this sound like you?
  • Previous experience in a prepper, painting, or trade assistant role (automotive preferred)
  • Strong commitment to working in a safe manner
  • High attention to detail
  • Be reliable, punctual, and a team player
