Role Purpose

Lyons are at the fore front of Heavy machinery Air conditioning and pressuriser installations, Working on Mining equipment such as dump trucks and excavators as well as Prime movers" Designing, Building, and installing made to order system. We are looking for a passionate heavy vehicle aircon technician / Automotive Technician who is responsible for the installation, testing, and repair of air conditioning systems, pressurisers, filters, and other related components on a range of small, medium, and heavy vehicles and equipment.

Pls note- This is not a full time FIFO role. This role is a Perth based site role with an occasional FIFO opportunity

Duties and Responsibilities

Perform testing, installation, and repair of air-conditioning systems, pressurisers, filters, and related systems across various vehicles and equipment.

Establish and maintain strong customer relationships through professional and clear communication.

Accurately assess and address customer requirements and expectations.

Complete administrative duties including data entry and job scheduling.

Troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade electrical systems in vehicles.

Utilize diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve electrical and electronic malfunctions.

Repair and replace electrical and electronic assemblies, components, and systems.

Install and repair both internal and external electrical systems, equipment and components in vehicles in compliance with safety and operational standards.

Connect power-operated vehicle equipment and accessories to the vehicle's power supply.

Diagnose and replace defective components such as ignition systems, wiring, lighting, alternators, generators, voltage regulators, fuses, and starter motors.

Safely operate hand tools and power equipment to complete tasks efficiently.

Achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance targets.

Adhere to workplace health and safety (WHS) guidelines, including when working at external job sites.

Report any safety hazards, unsafe practices, or misconduct to management immediately.

Stay current with technical knowledge and industry best practices through ongoing research and training.

Note : Candidates must have Permanent Australian working rights to be eligible to apply and should be residing within or less than 30-40 Kms from Kewdale

500 after 3 months of continuous employment

1,000 upon successful completion of the probationary period
