We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to join our team in Brisbane.

Job Description: As a Quality Control Technician at DIALOG Fitzroy Australia, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality in our engineering projects. You will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and evaluating materials, components, and products, as well as managing administrative tasks related to quality control processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting inspections and tests on materials, components, and finished products.
  • Identifying and reporting any defects or non-conformities.
  • Collaborating with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Maintaining accurate records of inspections and test results.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards and company quality policies.
  • Managing documentation and administrative tasks related to quality control.
  • Assisting in the preparation of quality reports and audits.
  • Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality.

Qualifications:

  • Able to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Diploma or degree in Engineering, Quality Control, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in quality control or a similar role within the engineering industry.
  • Experience in mechanical fabrication (SMP/Tanks) and/or industrial sectors.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Familiarity with quality control tools and techniques.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
  • Proficiency in administrative tasks and documentation management.
