Overview

Ravenswood School for Girls is a Uniting Church Prep to Year 12 day and boarding school for girls located on Sydney's North Shore. We are seeking an experienced Science Teacher to join our dedicated team in a permanent full-time capacity, commencing Term 1 2026.

Responsibilities
  • Teach Science to Years 7–10, with the ability to teach Stage 6 HSC Biology (essential).
  • Experience in Stage 6 HSC Chemistry would be advantageous.
  • Willingness to teach within the IB Diploma Programme.
  • Inspire students through engaging and innovative classroom practice, bringing creativity and academic rigour to curriculum delivery.
  • Collaborate within a professional team environment and participate in co-curricular opportunities.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Experience teaching Science to the relevant year levels, including HSC Biology required; HSC Chemistry desirable.
  • Ability to teach within the IB Diploma Programme preferred.
