Our client is a dynamic and highly successful global business with Australasian operations based in the Ballarat region of Victoria. They are seeking a values-driven individual to oversee the Finance, IT, and HR functions of the business. This role is integral to fostering a people-oriented company culture while motivating a talented team.
Working as part of a small leadership group, you will share joint responsibility for leading the 70-person operation, focusing on financial oversight, legal compliance, and strategic HR and IT management. You will directly manage a small team within these functions and collaborate on long-term planning with a focus on growth and operational excellence.
Reporting offshore, you will play a key part in strategic decision-making, including developing a five-year plan with investment strategies and sales targets. In this people-centric role, you will help maintain the unique company culture while ensuring financial stability and operational efficiency.
In addition to accounting qualifications, you will ideally have experience working in regional Australia and have had responsibility for broader aspects of the business. You will be a people-focused leader with a global outlook, known for your strategic insights and strong organisational skills.
