Overview

Commercial Account Executive - ANZ (Sydney). Cyera is hiring a high-performing hunter-type Account Executive to pioneer the new era of cloud data security. This role involves selling enterprise-wide cloud data security and data risk management solutions to Cyera's prospects and clients, managing full sales cycles from prospecting through closing.

Location: Sydney, Australia (AUS-based). Travel: approximately 50% depending on the sales cycle.

Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate an intimate understanding of Cyera's Data Security Solutions and the value to customers.
  • Create clear goals and accurate forecasts by developing a detailed territory plan.
  • Lead the sales cycle from pipeline generation to close.
  • Create and deliver custom meetings, PoVs, and business value presentations onsite with customers.
  • Engage with CISO, CDO, CPO, and CIO level executives, providing industry insights and building executive relationships.
  • Negotiate and close business with new and existing customers.
  • Grow Cyera's presence with alliance and channel partners.
  • Attend marketing events, conferences, and industry networking events.
  • Collaborate with Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, Product, Marketing, Delivery, and Executive teams to ensure strategy alignment.
Required Qualifications
  • Results-oriented with a track record of overachieving in large deals within a hyper-growth startup environment.
  • Minimum 8 years selling enterprise SaaS solutions in the cloud/security/data space to Fortune 500 customers.
  • Proficient in value-based solution selling with focus on delivering tangible business outcomes.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills; ability to present and develop creative solutions to move the sales process forward.
  • Understanding of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP), cloud security, and data risk; background in cloud security, data, or AI sales preferred.
  • Basic understanding of data security and compliance frameworks and their impact on business value.
  • Experience executing formal sales processes with familiarity with qualification frameworks and sales forecasting/management tools.
  • Adaptable to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • This is an AUS-based position. Willingness and ability to travel as needed, approximately 50% depending on the sales cycle.
Compensation & Benefits

In addition to a standard benefits and equity package, Cyera offers a generous salary. Final compensation will vary based on seniority, experience, location, and position requirements. This role may be eligible for potential merit increases based on individual or company performance, time in role, and other discretionary factors.
