About the RoleThe Claims Management team at DXC acts as Third Party Claims Administrators (TPAs), providing high-quality claims management services to brokered clients across Australia and internationally. The role involves managing customer care programs, providing claims management services, supporting other claims consultants, liaising with claimants, conducting investigations, and driving claims towards resolution following established processes. Compliance, proactive portfolio management, and developing claims management skills are key aspects of this position.
Key Responsibilities- Manage customer care programs, including follow-up calls, information gathering, and guiding customers through claims processes.
- Manage a portfolio of low complexity claims across various insurance classes, reviewing documents, conducting investigations, liaising with insurers, and calculating losses.
- Negotiate on behalf of clients to achieve favorable outcomes, acting as an advocate.
- Provide administrative support to senior consultants, prepare reports, attend meetings, and participate in training.
- Exceptional communication skills with compassion and empathy.
- High integrity, effective time management, attention to detail.
- Proficient computer skills, adaptability, resilience, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Team player attitude, understanding of Claims Management standards, customer service skills.
- Tertiary qualifications such as a Diploma in Financial Services or Law.
- Experience in general insurance, ISR, or motor claims in a TPA environment.
- Experience working for an insurer or brokerage.
Hybrid work model balancing in-person and remote work based on operational needs and personal preferences.
