The Opportunity
We're looking for an experienced AI Analyst / Engineer to join our team and help drive meaningful operational transformation. This newly created role is focused on identifying high-impact opportunities for AI disruption and leading the selection and implementation of enterprise-grade solutions that deliver measurable outcomes.

You'll collaborate closely with business and technology leaders to solve real problems, streamline processes, and implement automation that reduces manual effort, enhances decision-making, and improves both customer and staff experiences.

This role is suited to someone with demonstrated, hands-on experience delivering AI solutions in a commercial or enterprise environment.

It's a hands-on role with genuine scope to influence how we evolve — not just through experimentation, but through practical delivery and scalable impact. With a strong appetite for innovation and ongoing investment in technology, data and people, we're ready to move fast. We're looking for someone who can cut through complexity, is curious about what's possible, and committed to building AI solutions that work in the real world.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify high-value opportunities for automation and AI within core business processes
  • Evaluate emerging tools and technologies aligned with business priorities
  • Design, build and deploy AI/ML models to support smarter decision-making
  • Collaborate across teams to integrate AI solutions into existing systems and workflows
  • Ensure robust data foundations and pipelines to support model performance and explainability
  • Monitor, refine and govern models in production with clear documentation and lifecycle oversight
What You'll Bring
  • A solid understanding of Agile principles and delivery practices, with demonstrated experience working in cross-functional teams to drive iterative improvement
  • Practical experience designing and deploying AI and machine learning solutions, including applications built on large language models such as chatbots or NLP tools
  • Strong proficiency in Python (e.g. NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow or PyTorch), along with SQL and exposure to cloud platforms like Azure
  • Familiarity with MLOps frameworks (such as MLflow, SageMaker or Vertex AI) and experience with version control tools like Git
  • Confidence in evaluating model performance, interpreting results and applying continuous improvements in a production environment
  • An understanding of data governance, privacy and ethical AI practices, with the ability to apply these when building explainable, user-centred solutions
