Core Responsibilities & Duties

• Plan and deliver engaging teaching programs or courses.
• Be proficient with ICT learning platforms, especially Canvas.
• Possess content knowledge and pedagogical skills for online learning.
• Commit to professional growth through coaching and development.
• Create a child-safe environment following standards.
• Participate in safety training and adhere to policies and procedures.
• Follow our Child Safety Code of Conduct.
• Report safety concerns per policies, including the Four Critical Actions for Schools.
• Respect students' views and involve them in decision-making.
• Model and uphold the school's vision and values.
• Teach curriculum areas to senior students and develop online VCE courses.
• Maintain attendance and progress records.
• Implement effective student management aligned with the school's strategic plan.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in devotions and prayer.

About the Role

We seek qualified, passionate teachers for online teaching roles, specifically a full-time Maths teacher for Years 7-11 in 2026. Opportunities also exist to develop online VCE and Vocational Major courses for 2025 and beyond.

• Online teachers are required to work from our Casey office in Skye.

Employment is contingent on satisfactory screening, including identity, work rights, and child protection checks.

Qualifications

• Legal right to work in Australia

• Recognised teaching qualification
• Working with Children Check (if applicable)
• Registration with Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
• References and statements of service from previous child-related roles
