- Lead Exciting Electrical Communications Projects – Join Us as a Supervisor
The Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing site operations, ensuring safety and quality standards, and maintaining strong client and subcontractor relationships.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage a telecommunications project team, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and legislative requirements.
- Supervise crew members, subcontractors, and workplace participants, fostering a productive and respectful work environment.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) guidelines, conducting toolbox meetings and daily pre-starts.
- Manage procurement of materials, equipment, and goods (up to agreed value), ensuring timely delivery and budget compliance.
- Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors, addressing any issues and maintaining strong relationships.
- Monitor project progress, manage labour forecasting, and ensure work is completed on time and within budget.
- Maintain a high standard of quality control, ensuring all work meets specifications and legislative requirements.
- Complete daily production records, timekeeping, and reporting as required by the Project Manager.
- Valid Electrical License (preferred) and Telecommunications Accreditation (ASIAL telecommunications cabling license).
- Cert III in Telecommunications (preferred).
- Proven experience managing telecommunications projects, including staff supervision, client liaising, and subcontractor coordination.
- Strong knowledge of NSW Health ICT Cabling Standards and construction industry practices.
- Fluke certification and experience with vendor-based telecommunications products.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to resolve conflicts and lead teams effectively.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and proactive approach to project management.
